New Hope began in May of 2018, under the leadership of three men, who God gave a burden and a vision to reach Somerset County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our first service was held in a storefront building located in Somerset.

 

After a few months of growth, and under the guidance of the Lord, the group of believers moved to meet in the Somerset Senior Center. In July of 2020 during the pandemic, we began meeting at the Georgian Place in Somerset. This has given us a place for more growth and to allowed us to serve the community in a greater way. In May of 2022, New Hope voted to purchase a building sitting on 13 acres of ground debt free. We started meeting in our permanent in May of 2023. 

 

The future for New Hope is exciting, and we desire to leave a legacy behind of a church that cares about people. God has brought together a group of remarkable people. We are working together to build a church that will last for many generations to come. We would love to have you be a part of this supernatural success called New Hope Baptist Church.
